A product and marketing executive with nearly 20 years’ experience in the Internet and software industry, Mark Abramowitz has a strong track record of success in leading high growth companies. His career began in San Francisco during the .com boom, when he helped to grow a CRM consulting business from four to fifty employees before taking on a strategic product management position at Vignette Inc.

However, Mark’s most notable launch pad was salesforce.com, where he served for nine years in various product and marketing roles. Mark was most recently the Senior Director – APAC Marketing, developing and promoting the salesforce.com brand, devising its web and social media efforts and driving the adoption of social, mobile and cloud technologies within the Asia Pacific region. During his time at salesforce.com, Mark managed a team of product managers and built services for the company’s flagship product, Sales Cloud, to generate over $1 billion in yearly revenue. He was instrumental in closing the Merrill Lynch and Citi deals – salesforce.com’s two largest deals at the time – and advised CIOs and CMOs around the world on how to use cloud computing to transform their businesses.

Today Mark is defender of the SiteMinder brand, responsible for all aspects of the company’s global marketing – from its PR and messaging to its demand generation, product marketing, social functions, business performance analytics and everything in between. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, from the University of Vermont. American football and baseball are a big part of his DNA as are travel, running and spending time with his family.
