Marco Tagliatti

Marco Tagliatti serves of the vice president for North America, overseeing Expedia’s supply strategy for North America. In this role, Tagliatti leads the market management organization and lodging business in the region. He is responsible for building and sustaining Expedia’s leadership position with lodging partners in North America, through marketing and distribution on more than 200 websites and in more than 75 countries worldwide. Tagliatti also manages the creation and execution of marketplace initiatives to drive long-term relationships with hotel partners. Previously, Tagliatti managed the supply strategy and market management team for Latin America. Prior to joining Expedia, Tagliatti was chief operating officer at Venere.com, one of the leading hotel booking agencies in Europe, which Expedia acquired in 2008. He previously served as chief operating officer at the TV and online retail start-up Home Shopping Europe, and as a principal at consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. Tagliatti earned an MBA from Politecnico di Milano and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in computer science from the University of Pisa.
