Gary L Johnson

Gary Johnson is a Vice President with HVS Miami and the firm’s Shared Ownership Services division. For nearly 30 years, Gary has been an active participant in the management, consulting, and valuation sectors of the hotel industry. Specializing in hotel and shared ownership real estate asset advisory and valuation services, Gary has consulted on or valued more than 250 hotel and mixed-use developments in over 20 states and 10 countries. With significant expertise in shared ownership real estate, including private residence clubs, fractional, and timeshare properties, Gary has consulted for many of the major vacation ownership brands, including Hilton Grand Vacation Club, Hyatt Vacation Club, Wyndham Vacation Resorts, Westgate Resorts, Bluegreen Vacations, and Welk Resorts. Prior to joining HVS in 2004, Gary worked as the Assistant to the Director of Operations for Luxbury Hotels, a regional hotel company based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he gained experience in hotel operations and sales and marketing. Gary earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern University in Tennessee and holds a certified general real estate appraiser license in Florida.
