Caty Batten
Co founder and CEO at Intaconnected and The Nature of Business Lab

Caty is a sustainability professional and entrepreneur with 20 years of experience working across international development, environmental conservation, international events and enterprise education. Having launched the Oxfam brand in Switzerland, and raised finance for ocean protection in Mozambique, Caty holds an extensive network of collaborators across the sustainability ecosystem. She is co-founder at Intaconnected, a next generation strategic advisory that empowers organisations to accelerate their Pathway to Net Positive impact. Alongside Intaconnected, Caty manages its non profit arm, The Nature of Business Lab, a catalyst for solutions to accelerate positive economic transformation, supporting holistic wealth and planetary health. She is also founder of Regen Retreats, where she curates immersive leadership experiences to develop regenerative and restorative economic models for communities and ecosystems. These initiatives specialise in helping leaders to think and act in service of a more equitable, innovative, regenerative global economic model. As of 2025 Caty is partially seconded to the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance as Net Positive Innovation Lead, supporting the transition of their global membership towards Net Positive impact. She is advisor to environmental science NGO Alliance Earth, the Oxford Analytica Foundation, and Rewired Earth. Caty is certified in Regenerative Economics with the Capital Institute, Leading Sustainable Corporations with Said Business School, University of Oxford, and Business Sustainability Management with Cambridge University’s CISL. She also holds a BSc in Geography and French Science from the University of St Andrews.
