Yves Wencker

Yves Wencker is a passionate and visionary hotelier with over 30 years of international experience in luxury hospitality, specializing in launching, repositioning, and managing high-end resorts and hotels across the globe. A graduate of the Hotel School of Illkirch-Graffenstaden, with additional training at Cornell University (NY) and EHL Lausanne, Yves began his career at sea on German expedition vessels before taking on leadership roles in prestigious properties in the Caribbean, London, China, Morocco, and Mauritius. He notably led the successful launch and positioning of The Commune by the Great Wall in Beijing, and later served as Director of Lodging for Disneyland Paris, overseeing seven hotels and nearly 6,000 rooms. Since 2019, Yves has served as General Manager of the iconic Hôtel Raphaël in Paris, from there he opened the Maison SANOFI in Paris, state of the art headquarters with unique hospitality concepts. In 2025, he successfully led the full repositioning and elevation of the Westminster Paris to 5-star status in just five months — a major milestone for the Warwick group. A true global citizen and culinary enthusiast, Yves is known for his ability to turn bold visions into reality and for uniting multicultural teams around service excellence and guest experience.
