Erika Harms

Erika Harms has over a decade of experience in responsible tourism and sustainable ocean economy. She was founding executive director of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, led the World Heritage Alliance, and directed the UN Foundation's Sustainable Program. She also served in the secretariat of the High Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy at the World Resources Institute and helped establish the Tourism Action Coalition for a Sustainable Ocean. Since July 2021, Ms. Harms has been at Iberostar, first as Director of Coastal Health and now as Global Director of Sustainability - Science, Research & Innovation, leading efforts in regenerative tourism and ocean conservation.
