After nearly 15 years at consulting at firms including Grant Thornton / BDO, JLL, and HTI Consulting, I am excited to bring my owner-focused approach to Valor Hospitality as Business Development Manager for Africa. My background encompasses approximately 80 projects across Africa and the Caribbean, covering the full spectrum of hotel consultancy from feasibility studies, valuations, due diligence as well as operator selection and contract negotiation. My decision to join Valor was driven by their inherent client-forward philosophy – a principle that has guided my entire career. My role at Valor is not just about securing deals, it is about strategically involving our expert team from the outset. Furthermore, my background has engrained the critical importance of a solid start for any hospitality project and how important committed management is needed to achieve optimal asset performance.
