Dr. Evangelia (Lia) Marinakou

Dr. Evangelia (Lia) Marinakou is Principal Academic in HRM at Bournemouth University Business School. Prior to completing her PhD at Strathclyde Business School on gender and leadership, she held managerial roles in the Greek hospitality industry. She has served as Head of Department in academic institutions across Greece, Switzerland, Bahrain, and the UK, and has extensive experience in academic quality assurance and international accreditation. Her research focuses on diversity and gender in hospitality leadership, talent management, and the use of artificial intelligence in HRM, resulting in numerous scholarly publications and international conference presentations.
