Sir. David M. C. Michels has spent over 40 years in the hotel and gaming business. He is a founder of Michels & Taylor, a leading hotel asset management and consultancy firm in the UK. He also currently serves as the President of Hilton foundation and as the President at British Hospitality Association and Tourism Alliance, Institute of Hospitality.

He was the Chief Executive Officer of Hilton International Co. from April 1999 to June 2000 and the Group Chief Executive Officer of Ladbrokes Plc (Formerly, Hilton Group Plc) from June 1, 2000 to 2006. Prior to this he was the CEO of Stakis Plc from 1991 to 1999.

Sir David has also been the Chairman of the Board of Paramount Restaurant Supply Inc. since December 2009 and he served as an Interim Chairman of EasyJet Plc from July 1, 2009 to January 1, 2010 and Chairman of London & Capital. He also served as Deputy Chairman of Marks & Spencer Group Plc from June 2008 to February 2012. Sir David is a graduate of the London Hotel School !
