Jumeirah Group appoints Vice President Development

Peter Zenneck joins Jumeirah Group as Vice President Development for Europe and North Africa, based in London.

Jumeirah Group, the dynamic and fast growing Dubai based luxury hospitality group and member of Dubai Holding, has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Peter Zenneck in the newly created position of vice president development for Europe and North Africa.

Peter, who is American, will be based in Jumeirah’s London office and will focus primarily on hotel acquisitions and management contracts in Europe and North Africa. In his new role, Peter will drive Jumeirah’s ambitious development plans to growing its portfolio to 40 luxury hotels and resorts in cities and resort locations worldwide.

With a strategic global focus on aggressively entering new markets over the coming months and years, Jumeirah Group will continue to follow its core operating philosophy. Peter joins Jumeirah Group with over twenty years of international hospitality and real estate experience having worked in Europe, Asia and the United States. Prior to joining Jumeirah Group, Peter spent the last three years advising Leading Hotel Fund Advisors and its partner, Trinity Hotel Investors on European hotel investments. Before that, he worked with Meridien Hotels and Resorts as worldwide director of development and as vice president development Asia/Pacific. Peter holds a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and a MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).
