MINNEAPOLIS | Carlson Hotels Worldwide today announced that the company has added eight new locations to its global portfolio of brands in August. These include one Radisson Hotels & Resorts® hotel in India; one Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts property in Ireland; five Country Inns & Suites By Carlsonsm hotels and one Park Inn® hotel in the United States. These additions bring Carlson’s global portfolio to 938 hotels with more than 145,500 rooms in 70 countries. Carlson hotel brands also include Regent International Hotels and Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts.

Radisson Hotels & Resorts:

Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific developed the latest addition to the Radisson Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio. This property, the Radisson Jass Hotel Khajuraho in India, consists of 86 guestrooms and four suites and is located approximately half a mile from the city’s center. Kharjuraho is an ancient temple city in central India famous for its carved stone temples. This hotel is owned by Bhagwan Dass Khanna Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.

Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts:

The elegant Radisson SAS Farnham Estate Hotel-Cavan in County Cavan, Ireland, is a unique hotel set on a historic 13th-Century estate approximately an hour-and-a-half drive from Dublin. The hotel’s 158 guestrooms overlook 1,300 sprawling acres, and are designed to reflect the estate's unique heritage. To date, Radisson’s global portfolio includes 406 hotels with 92,154 guestrooms.

Country Inns & Suites By Carlson:

With the addition of five new Country Inns & Suites By Carlson hotels in August, the brand currently consists of more than 400 hotels and nearly 32,000 guestrooms.

All of the new properties are located in the U.S., and include the 64-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Newnan, Ga.; the 149-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Atlanta-North West at Windy Hill Road in Atlanta, Ga.; the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson-Clinton in Tennessee, with 63 guestrooms and is owned by Sachchidanand Hospitality, Inc.; the 64-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Harrisonburg, Va.; and the 78-room Country Inn & Suites By Carlson-Woodbridge in Avenel, N.J., owned by Rose Hotel, Inc. All of the new hotels feature traditional brand design elements, including hard wood floors and a fireplace in the grand lobby.

Park Inn:

The new Park Inn hotel in Milpitas, Calif., brings the brand’s global inventory counts to 83 hotels and 11,340 guestrooms. The 53-room hotel, owned by Milpitas Comfort Inn, LLC, is centrally located in the heart of Silicon Valley, minutes from the San Jose International Airport, Paramount's Great America, Santa Clara and the San Jose Convention Centers.
