Ramada Resort Karon Beach, Phuket opens this week as the only unique and family-oriented destination in Phuket. The resort has 121 rooms most with great sea views is situated at Karon Beach, which is the second largest of Phuket's principle tourist beaches.
As Phuket’s new family-themed 4 star resort, it features a 1950’s style rock & roll diner as its main restaurant. Another great dining venue will be the Magic Castle, which is the first and only “Film-set” like Dream Castle, hosting the Castle Grill and Bar as well as the longest water slider in Phuket.
Ramada Resort Karon Beach, Phuket features 14 rooms in three different adventure themes such as the Outer Space Room, the Underwater Room and the Castle Room. These theme rooms are all connected to a King-bedded Adult room so that the entire family can stay close together and enjoy the amenities of those special rooms. Besides amazing visual effects in the bedrooms and bathrooms these Kidz dream rooms come with play-stations, DVD players and 32” TV. Games and movies are themed as well and specifically chosen for their kidz-friendly content.
All deluxe rooms and suites are equipped with Kidz-friendly toy boxes, which will keep the kids busy in the evening time and during a rare bad weather spell.
The Siam Adventure Club, a trade mark of Destination Properties, will open its second outlet comprising of an awesome kidz-club, the beach club, the tour counter and a general guest relations service. This proven concept will be the center point of all guest services in the hotel by providing a fun-filled activity program to all kidz and the young at heart. The kidz club features several activity areas such as the nutty professor’s science lab, Picasso’s Art Center, K2 Climbing wall, a Kidz-kitchen for experimental cooking and a ball pen. For older kidz there is a play-station room and the movie room.
The main dining and entertainment center is run by Joe Kool where he created Phuket’s first Rock and Roll Diner. He accidentally parked his ‘64 Chevy right up the wall of the main bar and it just got stuck there. Joe Kool never actually ran a joint like this, so in Phuket his restaurant is amazingly known as “The world’s worst restaurant, home of lousy food and overpriced drinks.” But regardless, the place is always full with locals as well as foreign guests who just love it there.
