NYLO Hotels LLC today released additional details of its upcoming property in Nyack, New York, scheduled to open in 2014 (the company recently announced the project's team of developers, architects and designers). NYLO Nyack—the company's sixth hotel—will follow the upcoming debut of NYLO New York City, which will open late this summer on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

NYLO Nyack—Rockland County's first loft-style, boutique hotel—will be located in the village of Nyack in the heart of the Hudson River Valley, within walking distance of the Hudson River and the restaurants, shops and art galleries that make the town one of the region's most charming and popular destinations. The 132-room hotel will be housed in a four-story former factory—a space perfectly suited for showcasing the urban, industrial style that is the hallmark of the NYLO brand.

NYLO Nyack will feature a full-service restaurant, bar and lounge with indoor and outdoor seating, recreational bathing pool, fitness center, library and game room, business center and approximately 4,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 2,500 square foot ballroom. NYLO Nyack will also be home to a music studio with a live radio broadcasting booth. Many of the loft-style guest rooms and suites will offer sweeping views of the Hudson River and all rooms will feature NYLO's award-winning NYLO NYTE™ mattress, luxury linens and towels, custom-designed furniture, original artwork by local artists and intuitive touches throughout.

"The Hudson Valley's rapid economic growth, the charming and artistic character of Nyack and the close proximity to New York City make Nyack an ideal location for our brand's continued expansion," said Michael Mueller, CEO, NYLO Hotels. "NYLO Nyack will offer a unique alternative for dining and events and will be perfectly poised to comfortably and stylishly accommodate the area's mix of leisure travelers from New York City and international business travelers."

The village of Nyack is located directly off the New York State Thruway (I-87), one mile from the Tappan Zee Bridge and 25 miles north of New York City. Nyack is a quintessential Hudson Valley town, with charming shops, numerous casual and fine-dining restaurants, historical landmarks and a bustling art scene. The region is also a popular destination for cyclists, with miles of gorgeous trails that span diverse terrain. "We have already started working on a 'Tour de NYLO' package for cyclists who would bike from NYLO New York City to NYLO Nyack for dinner and an overnight stay," said Mueller.

In addition to packages geared towards cyclists and other outdoor enthusiasts, the hotel will provide easy access to popular attractions including the Edward Hopper House Art Center, summer farmers' markets and street fairs, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets and the riverfront Nyack Beach State Park—considered one of the most beautiful parks in the state, with kayaking, hiking, fishing and cross-country skiing among its many offerings.

A local $3.9 billion bridge project, which will replace the Tappan Zee Bridge by 2017, will include a bicycle and pedestrian path with unparalleled views of the Manhattan skyline and surrounding valley. The project is expected to pump billions of dollars into the local economy and create thousands of jobs in the region, which is already home to several major corporations.

NYLO Nyack will be NYLO's sixth hotel, following properties in Texas and Rhode Island and the soon-to-open NYLO New York City.
