Hilton Worldwide today announced expansion plans in Thailand with the signing of a management agreement with Q Hospitality Development Company Limited to open Hilton Phuket Patong Resort, the 13th Hilton Worldwide property in Thailand. The new hotel which is expected to open in the first quarter of 2018 will be the sixth Hilton Hotels & Resorts branded hotel in Thailand.

Conveniently located along Prabaramee Road, the main coastal road leading to Patong town center, the 300-room Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will be 21 kilometers from the Phuket International Airport. Approximately 1.6 kilometers from the famous Patong Beach, the resort is easily accessible to downtown Patong, the island destination's tourism epicenter renowned for its shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife offerings. Its immediate vicinity features numerous coveted local and western restaurants. .

Set on a steep hillside, Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will span across more than four hectares, offering 300 stunning rooms and villas with a spacious minimum room size of 54 square meters. Each room and villa will offer impressive views of the Patong coastline. The hotel will have five restaurant and bar options including an all-day dining outlet, a specialty restaurant and a destination bar. Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will have meetings and events facilities in a standalone pavilion building which offers two versatile function spaces covering an area of 500 square meters. Other facilities include a fitness center, a spa, three outdoor pools and a business center.

Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will become the brand's sixth property in Thailand when it opens in 2018, joining Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Hilton Pattaya, Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, and Millennium Hilton Bangkok. The new hotel will add to the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of 11 operating and one pipeline hotels in Thailand.
