Barcelona, 14th January 2015.- On Tuesday, 27 January, the Eurostars Madrid Tower 5* will host Hotusa Explora, I Forum for Tourism Innovation organised by the Hotusa Group. This is an unprecedented, pioneering event which will bring together leading companies, figures and entities from the Ibero-American market for a round table conference to analyse the tourism sector from various thematic approaches and strategic areas (tourism, leisure, technology, media, transport, booking portals etc.). The meeting, scheduled to be held annually to coincide with FITUR, aims to create a forum for dialogue and the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience and, at the same time, to lead to the reflection and generation of conclusions in an international and multidisciplinary environment with tourism as the connecting link.

Hotusa Explora, I Ibero-American Forum for Tourism Innovation (I FIIT) which will bring together 400 professionals from the world of tourism, innovation and technology, will take place on Tuesday, 27 January between 9.00am and 6:00pm at the facilities of the Eurostars Madrid Tower 5*. For this event, Grupo Hotusa has designed an agenda of round tables in which important figures from the sector such as the President of Everis, Fernando Francés; the President and CEO of Vueling, Álex Cruz; the Vice-President of Global Partner Group - Expedia, Christopher Michau; the founder and CEO of Logitravel, Ovidio Andrés; the Executive President and CEO of AMEX Spain, Alfredo García-Valdés; the President of RENFE, Pablo Vázquez; the Director General of Amadeus España, Paul de Villiers; and the President and CEO of Balearia, Adolfo Utor, among many more.

The sessions will focus on the following topics: "Tourism as a transversal sector", "Expectations in passenger transport", "The future and sustainability of the hotel sector", "Challenges and needs in emerging tourism", "Innovation in the pursuit of customers" and "OTA's in long and medium distance marketing".

 Hotusa Explora was created as an annual forum for dialogue and the fluid exchange
of knowledge to favour the development of joint projects and cooperation agreements for medium and long-term innovation and development. Also, the FIIT intends to achieve the active participation of the business world to establish a basis for reflection from the direct knowledge of the sector and the market which allows, at the same time, to achieve a significant impact through the media coverage of the reflections and conclusions reached during the Forum.
