Hilton doubles its timeshare presence in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with new resort developed by Strand Capital Group; launching city’s first new-build oceanfront resort in seven years
Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) and Strand Capital Group today announced the official debut of Ocean 22 by Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Myrtle Beach, SC. As the area's newest purpose-built timeshare project, Ocean 22 also debuts as the tallest resort in the City of Myrtle Beach – featuring 24 floors and topping out at 240 feet. The project also holds the distinction of being the first new oceanfront resort construction in Myrtle Beach since 2008.

According to Erik Johnson, General Manager for Hilton Grand Vacations resorts in Myrtle Beach, "Following an extremely successful hiring event in May, we have a fantastic team in place at Ocean 22." Johnson also oversees the operation of the 172-unit Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Anderson Ocean Club, which opened in the summer of 2011.
Ocean 22 is comprised of 220 luxuriously-appointed condominium style units including one-, two- and three-bedroom ocean view and oceanfront suites. Located in the heart of the Grand Strand and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the property includes an outdoor feature pool, indoor pool and hot tub, pool bar, lobby bar, fitness center, grab-n-go deli and a dedicated kids' area. Guests enjoy direct access to the public beach from the resort's private pool deck area. The central location of Ocean 22 also provides ideal access to the region's acclaimed golf courses, shopping, dining and nightlife.
The resort, situated in central Myrtle Beach at 2200 North Ocean Boulevard, is Strand's 15th high-rise project and the second project in the market developed in collaboration with Hilton Grand Vacations. Earlier this year, a new state-of-the-art 10,400 square foot Sales Gallery opened across from the resort, and continues to sustain strong consumer demand for ownership opportunities.
