London, 14th -- The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) – the voice of the global business travel industry – and German business travel buyer association VDR – today announced that Mr. Rob Greyber, President of Egencia®, will be a featured speaker at their joint conference taking place in Frankfurt, 9-11 November.

Rob will participate in the conference's opening industry Centre Stage session, which will feature a panel looking at the dynamic business travel distribution model and he will provide an expert perspective on how this is likely to evolve in the coming years.

Catherine McGavock, GBTA's Regional Vice President – EMEA said:
"We are pleased to welcome Rob as a featured speaker and know as an industry leader, he will provide unique insight to the topic along with other senior industry leaders soon to be announced."

Rob Greyber added:
"Throughout my career, the only constant has been change and the importance of managing it for success. I look forward to participating in a stimulating debate on today's distribution landscape and appreciate the platform provided by GBTA and VDR."

Rob is the President of Egencia and is responsible for the organisation's overall strategy and operations worldwide. He's worked with the Expedia group for over 11 years. Prior to Expedia, Rob worked in San Francisco for Scient Corp., a strategy and technology consulting firm where he led the team that designed and built the initial web and operating infrastructure for Hotwire.com, now a subsidiary of the Expedia group.

Following the success of last year's conference, the event brings together GBTA's annual conference in Europe with German partner association VDR's autumn symposium to create Europe's foremost business travel conference, expected to attract more than 900 delegates from over 20 countries.

Registration is now open, information on this and the conference programme is available on www.gbta.org/europeconference.
