ZHOUSHAN, China and McLEAN, Va -- Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) and Hilton Hotels & Resorts today announced the opening of Hilton Zhoushan, marking the debut of Hilton Worldwide's flagship hotel brand in Zhoushan city. The hotel is the newest addition to Hilton Worldwide's portfolio in the region, with more than 50 hotels already operating in China.Located on the northeastern tip of Zhejiang province on China's east coast, Zhoushan is one of the country's busiest port cities and also a growing tourist destination. Hilton Zhoushan is owned by Zhejiang Jinchao Harbour Hotel Co., Ltd and managed by Hilton Worldwide.

Hilton Zhoushan is located in the emerging East Harbor Lake Business Park of Zhoushan City, with a sweeping view of Mount Putuo, which is considered one of China's four sacred mountains and a pilgrimage site for Buddhism. The hotel is also close to tourist attractions including national tourism attraction Zhujiajian Island and the country's biggest and busiest fish port, Shenjiamen Seafood Street, making for an excellent base from which guests can explore the city.

Hilton Zhoushan has 378 rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame breathtaking waterfront views. The décor combines modern design and elegant fixtures with state-of-the-art amenities. Wired and wireless internet connections are available in every room and guests can also expect a 42-inch LCD TV, an ergonomic desk and chair, as well as an in-room safe.

The hotel's meeting facilities include 11 well-equipped meeting rooms and two ballrooms that offer fabulous sea views. In particular, the 1,100-square meter pillar-less Grand Ballroom East Sea Room also offers a view of Mount Putuo. All-day dining restaurant OPEN is a creative venue that combines the best of a bistro and a bar, to deliver good food in a fun atmosphere. For authentic Zhe cuisine and creative Cantonese dishes that are inspired by age-old culinary traditions and made from fresh Zhoushan seafood, guests can dine at Yuxi. Named after the Emperor's jade seal, this iconic restaurant has interactive counters that make the dining experience a visual feast as well. At Dongjiang Grill, guests can enjoy premium seafood, perfect wine pairings, sea views and a relaxing atmosphere.
