Home2 Suites by Hilton Opens First Property in Alaska
Guests of the Anchorage property will be near national parks and wildlife centers
ANCHORAGE, Alaska and MCLEAN, Va. – Home2 Suites by Hilton, Hilton Worldwide's (NYSE: HLT) award-winning mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand designed for modern business travelers and extended stay guests, announced today the opening of its first property in Alaska, Home2 Suites by Hilton Anchorage/Midtown. The new property, located in Anchorage, will offer 135 new suites to the area.
According to the Anchorage Visitor Information Center, the new Home2 Suites by Hilton continues a multi-year growth trend of hotels opening in Anchorage's midtown area. The hotel was developed by Affinity Hospitality and is owned by Anchorage HS Holding while Horne Management Group will manage the property

The hotel is close to several national parks and trails including Denali National Park, Kenai Fjords National Park and Coastal. Also, visitors can explore wildlife viewing at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and Alaska Zoo. Conveniently, the hotel is located three miles from Ted Stevens International Airport.
The new hotel offers easy access to technology and inviting community spaces, as well as the trademark Home2 Suites amenities, such as the Oasis lobby, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, the Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, and complimentary continental breakfast at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning favorites such as cereals, hot artisan breakfast sandwiches, waffles, yogurt and more.
