Conducted from April 20-22, 2016 at Virginias stunning 340-acre Salamander Resort & Spa, this annual conference brought together 20 senior-level insurance & financial professionals with 20 senior-level hotel executives from ALHIs distinguished Member hotels & reso rts. The conference included a peer-to-peer exchange to share solutions and best practices on such issues as Meetings and Performance Metrics, Trends in Incentives, and Risk Management in Todays Global Business Environment. Guest speakers addressed topics ranging from leadership to global trends and forecasts.

In addition, the IFLE conference featured a welcome address by noted Entrepreneur and Philanthropist Sheila C. Johnson, CEO of Salamander Hotels and Resorts, co-founder of the BET (Black Entertainment Television) network, and, among her holdings, ownership in three professional sports teams (the NBAs Washington Wizards, the WNBAs Washington Mystics, and the NHLs Washington Capitals).
