Ms. Panwala will participate Monday morning in the "Boutique Design Power Players: Women Leaders in Hospitality" breakfast and panel discussion alongside other female industry leaders from organizations including IHG, Sydell Group, Studio Twist, and the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association. Mary Scoviak, executive editor of Boutique Design magazine, will moderate.

Ms. Panwala will also act as judge at the awards gala on Monday night, where winners of the 36th annual Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design will be recognized.

"It is more than an honor; it is a genuine pleasure to be included as both a panelist and judge at BDNY," said Ms. Panwala. "The responsibility of helping shape the future of the hospitality industry is something that I, along with BDNY and my fellow panelists and judges, take very seriously."

AAHOA's 2016-2017 secretary and the president and CEO of Wealth Protection Strategies, Inc., Ms. Panwala has been a hotel owner for over 20 years.

"Jagruti is an incredible asset to AAHOA in terms of both her unrelenting hard work on behalf of our members and the leadership example she sets every single day," said AAHOA President and CEO Chip Rogers. "Her uncommon clarity of focus and dedication will shine, as it always does, on the BDNY stage."

BDNY will be co-located with HX: The Hotel Experience at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. For more information, visit bdny.com.
