Hilton Hotels & Resorts Brand to Debut in Heart of Latin America
Hilton Signs with Grupo Cartes to Manage Hilton Hotel in Asuncion Paraguay



Hilton (NYSE: HLT) and Grupo Cartes today announced the signing of a management agreement to operate a new build Hilton hotel and residences in Asuncion, Paraguay – bringing the company's flagship brand to a new country. Hilton Asuncion will form part of a 600,000-square-foot mixed use complex featuring a broadcasting building, corporate offices, Hilton branded residences and parking spaces. Scheduled to open in 2021, the hotel will operate 180 guest rooms and 50 Hilton branded residences.

Strategically located in one of the city's newest commercial, financial and hospitality centers, Hilton Asuncion will bring a striking design to the intersection of Aviadores del Chaco and Campos Cervera. The new hotel, designed by renowned Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott, will offer three restaurants, a bar and café; a nearly 4,400-square-foot spa featuring five treatment rooms, four manicure and pedicure rooms, a relaxation space and sauna; a nearly 1,100-square-foot outdoor swimming pool; fitness center; business center and more than 10,000 square feet of flexible space to host events, including one ballroom, three meeting rooms and two boardrooms. The hotel will be located approximately five miles from the international airport and boast proximity to nearby shopping and entertainment centers such as Shopping del Sol, Paseo Galeria and Shopping Mariscal Lopez.
