The Adria Hotel Forum is a leading Southeast European hotel investment conference held every year in Zagreb, Croatia and visited by regional and international hotel industry experts.

The fifth edition of the international hotel investment conference Adria Hotel Forum will be held held on February 8th and 9th 2017. in Sheraton hotel in Zagreb on the following theme: INVESTMENTS IN HOTEL INDUSTRY: Development and beyond

The main questions that will be raised during AHF 2017 are: What is the future of hotel industry in Europe and consequently in SEE region? What differs from developed destinations and what is to be done? Who and when should develop the infrastructure and how the destinations should position themselves? And the most important question of today; is this really the safe part of the world and how can we assure it?

In one place, AHF gathers all the relevant actors including international experts, presidents and members of the boards of the largest regional and global hotel companies, ministers, investors, institutional representatives, financial institutions, consultants, lawyers and other experts.

  • Takuya Aoyama is Vice President Acquisitions & Development with Hyatt International (EAME) LLC, responsible for expanding Hyatt's portfolio of brands in the markets of Russia & CIS, Central & Eastern Europe.
  • Hylko Versteeg is Associate Vice President Development of Southern Europe at InterContinental Hotels Group. Hylko joined the development team of IHG in May of 2006 and has overall responsibility for the growth of the IHG portfolio in Southern Europe.
  • Alan Mantin is Senior Director of Development for Southern Europe and responsible for Hilton Worldwide development in 11 countries: Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Israel and Cape Verde.
  • Emeline Sykora-Wintrebert is the Development Manager in South-Eastern Europe for Orbis Hotel Group, the strategic partner in the region of AccorHotels, world-leading travel & lifestyle group and digital innovator, covering all segments from economy to luxury.
  • Paul Pisani is a Senior Vice President Development at Corinthia Hotels. In 1998 he took a full time Development role in the capacity of Director of Business Development, spearheading the Company's expansion drive in EMEA. In late 2006, he became Vice President Development and then, in 2010, Senior Vice President Development, responsible for world-wide development for the Corinthia brand. Paul also sits on a number of Corinthia related boards.
  • Dirk Bakker is a Partner at Coliers International. He has over 25 years experience in hotel operational consulting, originally with a focus on database management customer loyalty programs and hotel reservation systems in the global market. Dirk is a specialist in strategic management & marketing projects with clarity in vision and strategy, leading to tangible results. Focus on emerging markets, leveraging extensive entrepreneurial expertise in Europe, India and Brazil.
  • Dr. sc. Sanja Čižmar is Senior Partner with Hotel & Destination Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specialized for hospitality and tourism projects with long-standing experience and international credentials of its partners and associates.
  • Branko Bogunović is a partner in Hotel & Destination Consulting. He has managed over 40 and participated in over 100 projects in hotel and tourism industry with a focus in development strategies, master plans and destination planning projects. He has managed or participated in more than 30 national and regional level tourism plans in SEE and CIS region.
  • Kristian Šustar is a member of the Board of HUP Zagreb, a company whose business is to dictate trends in the development of national tourism, and it is positioned in a way that assumes the role of managing the transition model of tourism development by determining the direction of change.

In business environment, the Forum is defined as the only regional conference that global hotel professionals monitor. For this reason, in the fifth edition, AHF has decided to talk about more prominent theme of current changes in the world and their influence on the tourism industry, infrastructure development as well as continental tourism.
