Guests can skip the lines at the front desk and instead use their phone from the time of reservation to check-in and checkout.
Skip the front desk on arrival
Guests download the app prior to arrival by following the link in the confirmation email or "manually" download the app from the App Store or Google Play. The app is used for guest registration, check-in, and preauthorization before arrival, thus removing the need to stop at the front desk.
Support for BLE locks
During the stay, guests can use their phone to unlock the hotel room door by activating the mobile key in the app and holding the phone against the door"s Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) lock. It eliminates the handling of plastic key cards and reduces waste. The guest is also able to share the key with other guests staying in the same room.
Chat functionality
Guests can use the app to find information about the hotel"s amenities and through Zaplox"s partner integration, the app provides chat functionality and other concierge services. The app also allows the hotel to communicate important arrival information and special promotions.
Mobile payment processing
At departure, the app is used to handle checkout and guests can use the app to review the bill and make the final payment without any interaction with the hotel staff.
Three levels of mobility
Zaplox Premium comes in three different levels that allow hotels to gradually add new functionalities at their own pace. The first level includes mobile key functionality, the second level provides a mobile guest journey with features such as mobile check-in and checkout, and the final level includes preauthorization and payment processing.
Custom branding
The Zaplox Premium app is customizable with your hotel"s logo, images, branding, and your own app icon.
