Nicolas Vienne

The Ritz-Carlton, Astana has announced the appointment of Nicolas Vienne as the head of the Food & Beverage department.

The imposing geographical diversity of the regions Nicolas has worked in is evidence of his experience and knowledgeability in the world of gastronomy - from his home country of France to the USA, South Pacific Islands, China, Mauritius and Saudi Arabia, including Michelin guide rated restaurants. Nicolas Vienne worked for several years as a chef and from 2007 to 2015 Nicolas worked managerial positions at Sofitel in Asia, which was then followed by employment as the F&B director at the Four Seasons Mauritius, Anahita and the Four Seasons Riyadh at Kingdom Center.

Being always focused on the end result, throughout his ten-year career, Nicolas has come to possess keen knowledge and understanding of managing restaurant systems, improving revenue and budgeting which is coupled with his skills in recruitment, training, staff motivation and team leadership, enabling the achievement of the best possible results.

Nicolas has authored several books on cooking which feature the best and most unique recipes from cuisines all around the globe.
