Todd Raessler

Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa is thrilled to announce that General Manager, Todd Raessler, has been named to The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) Resort Committee. The committee is limited to just 65 members selected from Resort General Managers across the country.

Todd Raessler joined Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in 2018 during the resort's $150 million renovation and expansion and directed the reopening of the resort in 2019. During his tenure, Omni Barton Creek Resort has been awarded AAA 4-Diamond status in addition to maintaining the resort's ranking among GolfDigest Editors' Choice Best Golf Resorts in the Southwest and GOLF's Top 100 Resorts in North America. Omni Barton Creek was also recently named #3 in Travel + Leisure's 'Top Ten Resorts in Texas' Reader's Choice Awards.

The AHLA Resort Committee is an educational and deliberating body that assesses the impact of legislation and regulation directed to the resort community; fosters resort-directed economic and consumer research; encourages continuing education and environmentally responsible operational practices; and promotes resort destination travel and tourism as a means of contributing to the quality of life and the free enterprise system. In this role, the Resort Committee shall vet two candidates to represent the resort segment of the AHLA Board of Directors.

Prior to his role at the resort, Raessler was General Manager at the prestigious luxury St. Regis Princeville Resort located in the Hawaiian Islands. He also oversaw the Forbes 5-Star Phoenician and The Canyon Suite Resorts in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as holding senior leadership positions at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Arizona, The Westin Century Plaza Hotel and the St. Regis Los Angeles. He attended Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, where he received his B.S., and has spent over three decades in the hospitality industry.
