Rute Palma joined Guestcentric as a Customer Success Representative in 2016. Over the years, she has progressed through various positions within the company, including Revenue & Integrations Strategist and Senior Onboarding Manager. She is currently the Senior Account Manager of Digital Services at Guestcentric's Lab Department - an agency service which supports independent hotels in the implementation of innovative and dynamic digital marketing strategies to grow their direct bookings. With a strong passion for the hospitality industry and digital innovation, Rute brings an empathetic and commercially-aware approach to her role. She also boasts extensive project management skills, along with a specialist hospitality and digital knowledge. She helps hotels develop strategies and implement best practices in everything from website content management, to search engine visibility, to booking engine conversions, and channel distribution. Her priority is to help hotels maximize direct revenue whilst ensuring a balanced distribution across all channels. In addition to extensive digital marketing expertise, Rute also boasts a wealth of experience across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. Prior to her role at Guestcentric, Rute was employed across a number of leading lodging and tourism enterprises, including Accord Group, Emirates, and Novotel Hotels. Rute also studied a range of courses at Hotel School, and has also been trained at Mariott International and Carlson WagonLit Travel.
