Dean Winter

Dean Winter is Managing Director of Swire Hotels, leading the Upper House and EAST brands while overseeing the group’s operations, culture, and long-term growth. He first joined Swire in 2006 in a development role supporting the creation of Upper House Hong Kong and EAST Hong Kong, later becoming part of the pre-opening leadership team at Upper House and serving as its General Manager from 2008. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in defining the brand’s design-forward philosophy and intuitive approach to hospitality. Appointed Managing Director in 2020, he now steers the continued evolution and expansion of Swire Hotels, drawing on more than three decades of industry experience.
