CHICAGO (AP) - The owners of the Hyatt hotel chain are donating $30 million to the University of Chicago, school officials announced Wednesday. The gift by the Pritzker family is the largest-ever monetary donation to the university. The money will support the university's biological sciences division and its Pritzker School of Medicine, named for the family in 1968. University of Chicago president Don Michael Randel said the gift comes at an important moment in the history of science and in the history of the university.
