Schellen as area director of human resources at InterContiental Hotels at Dubai Festival City will oversee the human resources department for the cluster of four hotels as well as the Festival Arena.
Her team will be made up of 1,100 colleagues hailing from more than 63 nations.
She previously served Hilton Dubai Creek as human resources manager, director of human resources at both W Hotels and Starwood Central London. She has also worked as corporate director of human resources and administration for DXB Entertainments before reprising her latest role with IHG.
