El Cortez Hotel & Casino has promoted Patrick Lazarus to Vice President and Director of Casino Operations, as the Downtown Las Vegas property marks its 85th anniversary.
In his new role, Lazarus will lead day-to-day casino floor management across slots and table games. He joined El Cortez in 2012 and has advanced through a variety of roles, including Table Games Shift Manager and Casino Manager.
The appointment supports El Cortez’s next phase of growth as the property prepares for 2026 renovations after a major $20M expansion unveiled last year.
Patrick Lazarus is an alumnus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) – Class of 2009.
