Joshua Hargrove è stato nominato General Manager presso Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach
With more than two decades of hospitality leadership experience, Joshua Hargrove returns to Marriott’s Waikiki Collection as General Manager of Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach, and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach. Most recently, he served as General Manager of The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Kaanapali, where he guided the renowned resort through a period of continued growth and guest experience excellence.
As General Manager of two legendary properties, Hargrove oversees nearly 900 associates. His arrival comes at an important time for both hotels. The iconic Moana Surfrider, now celebrating 125 years of hospitality, recently completed a comprehensive property-wide transformation. The enhancement included all 791 guestrooms and suites across its three distinct wings, a refreshed historic lobby, a new oceanfront event venue and the restoration of the Surfrider Wing name, marking the final chapter of a thoughtfully phased resort-wide transformation. Meanwhile, the 71-year-old Sheraton Princess Kaiulani completed a renovation of all 664 guestrooms and suites in its Ainahau Tower in 2024. The hotel is currently enhancing its award-winning Splash Bar, further elevating the guest experience in the gathering space on the lobby level of the Ainahau Tower.
A native of Washington State, Hargrove has previous general manager experience on Oahu at the Prince Waikiki Hotel; he has also held leadership positions at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas, the former Modern Honolulu and at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, a member of Marriott’s Waikiki Collection. Hargrove gained acclaim for his steady and compassionate leadership during the Maui wildfires in August 2023, helping navigate an unprecedented crisis while ensuring the well-being of associates, guests and the local community. He is the current chairman of the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association, and a past Chairman of the statewide organization, the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association. He has won numerous state-level awards for his exceptional leadership in the hospitality industry. Among them are Forty Under 40, 20 for the Next 20, and Young Professional Leader of the Year.
