Novotel Goa Panjim is pleased to announce the appointment of Nishant Sharma as Finance Controller. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, he brings extensive exposure to hotel finance, having built his career across multiple hospitality destinations in India.
Associated with Accor since 2017, Nishant has held roles across several properties within the group, including ibis Styles Goa Calangute, ibis Bengaluru Hosur Road, Grand Mercure Bangalore at Gopalan Mall and Raffles Udaipur. Prior to his appointment at Novotel Goa Panjim, he was associated with Novotel Lucknow, further strengthening his experience within the Accor network.
Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in financial operations, accounts payable, cash management and hotel finance. His experience across operational and managerial roles has given him an understanding of the financial functions that underpin hotel operations and the role of financial management in supporting business performance.
In his new role, Nishant will oversee the hotel’s financial functions, including financial planning and day-to-day financial operations. He will work closely with the leadership team to align financial management with the property’s business objectives and operational priorities.
With this appointment, Novotel Goa Panjim continues to strengthen its leadership team as it progresses with its business priorities in Goa’s dynamic hospitality landscape. The addition of Nishant’s financial expertise brings further depth to the property’s finance function, supporting informed decision-making and a disciplined approach to financial management.
