Hilton Business Anywhere Centers Launched at Select U.S. Hilton Hotels; 24-Hour Automated Business Centers Being Installed in Next 90 Days
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif / It's an altogether familiar scenario: A business traveler is racing to find the hotel business center in the wee hours of the morning in order to make a last-minute change on a proposal for an early-morning presentation.
The problem: The hotel's business center is closed, or worse, there is no business center. Hilton's solution: The Hilton Business Anywhere Center.
Hilton Hotels Corp. has selected Business Anywhere as the preferred provider of high-quality, unattended business center kiosks to be made available at select U.S. Hilton hotels. Currently installed in 13 U.S. Hilton hotels, aggressive expansion within additional U.S. Hilton hotels is expected to occur throughout the next 90 days.
The 24-hour, automated Hilton Business Anywhere Centers provide a Pentium computer, internet access, copying, faxing and computer notebook printing capabilities, among other services.
"We want our guests to be as productive as they need to be while staying at a Hilton hotel, no matter what time of the day or night," said Robert E. Dirks, senior vice president-marketing for the hotel division of Hilton Hotels. "Strategically aligning ourselves with Business Anywhere enables us to assist our guests in conducting business successfully."
Business Anywhere centers currently are installed in the following Hilton hotels: Hilton Allentown (Pa.), Hilton Commonwealth (Ken.), Hilton Flamingo-Reno (Nev.), Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport (Calif.), Hilton Los Angeles Airport & Towers (Calif.), Hilton Ontario Airport (Calif.), Hilton San Diego Mission Valley (Calif.), Hilton Mesa Pavilion (Ariz.), Hilton Milwaukee (Wis.), Hilton Riverfront/Little Rock (Ark.), Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas (Ariz.), Hilton Springfield (Ill.), and Hilton Sunnyvale Inn (Calif.).
"Our 24-hour business service kiosks are ideal either as an alternative to or to supplement a full-service business center," said Kim Kao, president of Business Anywhere USA Inc. "We are delighted to be providing Hilton with a valuable service that will make their hotels more appealing to today's business travelers."
Hilton Business Anywhere Centers offer a touch-screen, multi-lingual operation. Guests may easily pay for services with a major credit card or prepaid debit card swiped through a reader. The system includes a Pentium multimedia computer with a Zip drive, e-mail access as well as Web browsing through the Internet, a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet high-volume printer, a laptop print port, a medium-speed copier (10-12 pages per minute), a plain paper fax machine, a laptop modem port and a 24-hour, toll-free customer support hotline.
Telephones located at select Hilton Business Anywhere Centers provide one-touch connection to the nearest public business center for additional business services (such as collating and binding large copy jobs), 800-HILTONS to make reservations, 800-HHONORS for Hilton HHonors membership services and the hotel operator to be connected to other hotel departments.
Business Anywhere USA is a privately held, California-based corporation specializing in providing business centers to the hospitality industry. The patented Business Anywhere Centers are available in many business-class hotels throughout the United States.
