Denver – Navigant International, Inc. FLYR, one of the largest suppliers of corporate travel services in the U.S., announced today the promotion of Thomas Nulty to President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Nulty currently heads Navigant's Pacific Region, and oversees Associated Travel, one of Navigant's largest subsidiaries.

"Thom is a solid addition to our senior executive team," said Edward Adams, Chief Executive Officer of Navigant. "His thirty years of travel industry experience combined with his passion for technology and the Internet make him the right leader for our growing company as we continue to move forward into an electronic marketplace. Thom has an excellent record of growing and managing companies in the travel industry. His technological knowledge and bias strengthens Navigant's commitment to electronic commerce, and I believe, will help make us a leader in that market," continued Adams.

Mr. Nulty, while President of Associated Travel, built the company into a technological leader in the corporate travel management industry. Among the innovative software developed by Associated is AQUA(TM), a recognized standard for automated quality control, and low priced fare search products. " Technology provides advantages to our customers, and to our employees who support them," said Nulty. "I believe you can always find a better way to do almost anything using process improvement techniques and technology, including the Internet. We are in the midst of a paradigm shift to electronic commerce, and I can't think of a more fascinating or interesting time in history. It's exciting," continued Nulty.

The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and other major publications frequently use Mr. Nulty as a source and expert on travel industry issues. He has also made multiple appearances on NBC's Today Show discussing industry developments and travel technology innovations.

Mr. Nulty replaces Douglas Knight, who announced his decision to relinquish his COO duties in April. Knight will remain employed by Navigant through October, when the current term of his employment contract expires, and will be available for special projects and consultation.

"Doug brought a great deal of enthusiasm and experience to Navigant, and we're sorry to see him go," Adams said. "With his decision, we decided to combine the President and the COO positions. This change should allow me to devote almost all of my time to strategic planning, and working with the investment and financial communities, while giving the President/COO responsibility for the internal operations of the company, including generating revenue and margin growth, and finishing the consolidation of our companies, " concluded Adams.
