PTC, a leading provider of integrated solutions to the hospitality and entertainment industries, today announced the release of its new Exalt(TM) Package of restaurant-to-enterprise software applications. Exalt(TM) is a Windows(R) based, integrated point-of-sale (POS) and back office system targeted at smaller Quick Service Restaurants (QSR). Exalt(TM) offers the critical capability of remote configuration management for the entire store.

Par is now able to offer two distinct turnkey management systems to the restaurant marketplace: Exalt(TM), which will focus upon the smaller QSR owner/operator of restaurants, and iN.fusion(TM), Par's software of choice for the larger multi-concept franchisee/licensee and corporate restaurant organizations.

The Exalt(TM) Back Office component, which is Windows-based, allows restaurant managers to create reports from data collected at the point-of-sale for more tightly controlled labor and food costs, and provides a number of automated functions, including payroll. The Exalt(TM) configuration management module, which is also web-based, allows for the maintenance of menus from remote locations, allowing managers to alter menus by market or store.
