COLUMBIA, Md., MICROS Systems, Inc. MCRS, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, has signed a five-year agreement with IHOP Corp. to install the MICROS Restaurant Enterprise System (RES) 3000 in all new IHOP locations and in existing franchisee locations at the option of the franchisees. There are currently over 1,000 IHOP restaurants located throughout the United States and Canada.

Included in all new IHOP store installations will be the MICROS Eclipse PC Workstation and the MICROS 3700 Point-of-Sale system, as well as Labor Management and Enterprise Management software modules that comprise the RES 3000 Suite. After a successful pilot project, installation in new stores began in late February.
