Marriott International Leads the Hotel Industry, Offering High-Speed Internet Access at More Than 2,200 Hotels Worldwide
WASHINGTON -- Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR - News) today introduced free high-speed internet access at more than 400 Fairfield Inn hotels in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Fairfield Inn is a moderately priced hotel brand primarily serving value-driven business travelers and leisure guests. In addition to free high-speed internet access, Fairfield Inn also offers free local calls and complimentary continental breakfast.

Customers can also take advantage of free high-speed internet access at more than 1,300 Courtyard, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites hotels.
Marriott leads the hotel industry in offering high-speed internet access at more than 2,200 properties worldwide. The company expects to complete installation at all of its U.S. hotels by the end of 2004.
At its full-service hotels, the company offers "Wired for Business" at more than 220 Marriott and Renaissance properties. "Wired for Business" combines in-room high-speed internet access and unlimited local and long- distance phone calls within the U.S. for $9.95 per day. The service is designed to meet the needs of guests who want to stay connected to work and home by offering them a bundle of communications services for one low price.
