Eliance Restaurants Taps InfoGenesis to Enhance the Guest Experience at Historic European Landmarks
Prominent Operator of Upscale Foodservice Concessions Deploys InfoGenesis POS at Seven Famous Tourist Sites
SANTA BARBARA, CA - InfoGenesis, the leader in Guest Experience Management applications and services, announced today that Eliance Restaurants, a prominent operator of foodservice concessions based in London, has selected the InfoGenesis point-of-sale (POS) solution for deployment at seven restaurants throughout the United Kingdom. Triangle, the UK-based reseller of InfoGenesis products and services, completed the sale and will install the solution at all locations.
After an intensive selection process, Eliance Restaurants chose InfoGenesis POS for its ease-of-use, guest experience capabilities, and the availability of local services and support from Triangle.
"We provide gourmet-quality foodservice at several of England and Europe’s busiest attractions, so it was critical to us that our ordering and payment solution contribute to the speed at which we serve our guests," said Tim Doubleday, Finance Director at Eliance. "In working with Triangle and the InfoGenesis teams, we realized that InfoGenesis POS would enable our staff to further enhance the existing high standards we apply to everything we do, especially the guest experience."
Eliance Restaurants operates dining and quick-serve food concession outlets at some of England’s most famous tourist attractions, including the Tower of London, National Gallery, Edinburgh Airport, and Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet. In a first for Great Britain, the installation at Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet will enable patrons to pre-order drinks and snacks prior to intermission, allowing the guests to have a better experience at intermission, and allowing Eliance to improve service delivery to guests and track sales.
Eliance plans to implement the InfoGenesis POS solution on IBM SurePOS 500 touch screen terminals and Symbol wireless handheld terminals. The POS terminals will provide improved transaction speed and accountability while the handheld terminals let servers take and deliver orders efficiently. This integrated technology will improve order delivery time and increase quest satisfaction. The robust, real-time reporting offered by InfoGenesis POS also allows Eliance management to make timely decisions that improve the quest experience, help them recognize and avoid lost sales, and increase profitability.
Eliance currently uses InfoGenesis POS at several of its other properties including Paul Bakery locations throughout the U.K. Eliance will also use InfoGenesis POS at London’s Hampton Court Palace. This Digby Trout restaurant will use six strategically placed IBM SurePOS terminals to sell food and beverages in their tea rooms, as well as in the Tiltyard Café and Privy Kitchen.
