2006 Maestro Users’ Conference

Markham, ON | NORTHWIND, a provider of enterprise property management hotel software and reservation solutions for hospitality, announced it will structure its 2006 Maestro User’s Conference, “Hitting the High Notes with Maestro”, with a focus on helping clients increase productivity and property profitability by leveraging Maestro technology and services to its fullest potential. NORTHWIND’s 2006 Users’ Conference is scheduled for September 19 – 22 at the luxurious Founders Inn in Virginia Beach.

Warren Dehan, NORTHWIND’s President of US Operations, said, “NORTHWIND is building on last year’s successful Users’ Conference by providing three full days of education sessions and high-energy breakouts to help our clients maximize their use of all of Maestro’s productivity tools. We will also be kicking off the conference with our Maestro Golf Tournament; and so that all attendees can relax after work, we will be hosting nightly evening activities and entertainment during the conference.”

Last year’s Users’ Conference was applauded by clients for its balance of in-depth system education, one-on-one workshops and networking events. Michael Polese, General Manager of The Westminster Hotel, said, “Last year’s Maestro Conference was excellent. I see great value in sending my team members to training sessions for their specific job class.” Helen Staton, Seaside Property’s Revenue Manager, stated, “Each workshop was very beneficial. I learned something valuable at every session. It was also good to see all the exciting Maestro upgrades in the works, meet other users and discuss ways to maximize system utilization.”

The 2006 Users’ Conference will offer professional training sessions and breakout master classes in CRM, Rate and Yield Management, Group Management, Data Security, Retail POS and other Maestro applications. Each session is designed to give users the information they need to utilize every aspect of their hospitality system, whether they represent a chain of resorts or a single independent property. “The Maestro Users’ Conference is NORTHWIND’s way of adding value for clients by providing ways to increase system knowledge, build new skills and leverage their systems and our value added client services as much as possible to improve their businesses,” explained Warren Dehan.

Who Should Attend

The 2006 Maestro Users’ Conference, open to all NORTHWIND clients, is targeted to operators and hospitality professionals who want to apply technology to their businesses more effectively and to exchange ideas with their peers. The program provides an opportunity to learn and relax in beautiful surroundings at one of the country’s premier conference destinations. The Founders Inn and Spa is centrally located near beaches, amusement parks and historical landmarks in the Virginia Beach area. Championship golf is available at The Tournament Players Club of Virginia Beach and in the nearby colonial towns of Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown, where American history comes to life.

Attendee-Only Special Offer

NORTHWIND will offer participants at this year’s Users’ Conference a special ‘Attendee Only’ offer of registration for private systems education sessions on site at the conference and for three months afterward.
