Norman, OK| Waterford Hotel Group has announced the recent appointment of Robert Fink as general manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Norman, OK. The 126-room property is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm managing 26 properties in 9 states.

As general manager, Fink will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. Fink first joined the Residence Inn Norman in 1992 as guest service manager/director of reservation systems, and was promoted to general manager in 1997. During his tenure at the hotel he was awarded General Manager of the Year by the Greater OKC Hotel & Motel Association, as well as Waterford Hotel Group Team of the Year in both 1998 and 1999. After leaving Waterford, Fink served as director of operations for the Marriott Conference Center in Norman, vice president of lodging for InternetINNS.com, and was a co-owner and vice president of sales and marketing for Liberty Homes. Most recently he served as a consultant for the hotel and real estate industries.

Fink attended the University of Oklahoma with a major in Business Education, and is a Certified Hotel Administrator and Hospitality Sales Professional from the American Hotel & Motel Association/Educational Institute. He currently resides in Norman.
