The California Hotel & Lodging Association Education Foundation Recognizes Donations From Handlery Foundation and Don Johnson, CHA
Don Johnson, CHA, owner of Vagabond Inns in Palm Springs and Oxnard, sponsors the Kevin Johnson Memorial Scholarship that assists graduating high school seniors that have chosen to pursue a degree in Hospitality Management. Don Johnson is an integral and active member of both the CH&LAEF board of directors as well as the CH&LA and AH&LA board of directors and a long-time industry supporter.
“In the long run, supporting the education of our next generation of hoteliers will benefit us all. We are very appreciative of the Handlery Foundation and Don Johnson’s support of CH&LA’s Education Foundation.” noted CH&LAEF President Luis Barrios. “The need for funding, support and mentorship among hospitality students is immense. In order to ensure the future of our industry, we must encourage and nurture our students today.”
