The "Gateway to Grafton" is a rapidly expanding commercial corridor inviting guests to experience local retail outlets,entertainment and a variety of restaurants. In addition to the Hampton Inn & Suites, the 'Gateway to Grafton' also featuresa recently opened BP convenience store that is owned and operated by Scott Sadownikow and Mike McClean of WisconsinConvenience Store Management. The third business to be located within the 'Gateway to Grafton' development is an approximately 7,600 square foot WaterStreet Brewery to be owned and operated by RC Schmidt, who owns and operates a number of restaurants in the greaterMilwaukee area. Kraig Sadownikow of American Design-Build, the master developer of 'Gateway to Grafton' spent many months working withthe Village of Grafton, the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and the United States Corps of Engineers tofinalize the site plan for the project. Mr. Sadownikow was also instrumental in ensuring that many 'green initiatives' were takenin the construction of the hotel including the installation of a state-of-the-art hot water system for the property.
