ATLANTA – Inspired by the significant reductions in staff time and server room space needed at

hotels switching to its proprietary PMS/CRS platform, Itesso, the global innovator in Cloud-native hospitality technology, is highlighting those efficiencies with its latest promotion, launching this week at HITEC 2014 in Los Angeles. As a Cloud-native solution that requires no onsite hardware, ELS eliminates the need for bulky server equipment, essentially turning server rooms into vacant spaces in need of filling. In addition, the system creates a substantial increase in spare time for hotel staff, due to the platform’s ability to merge and automate a variety of operational tasks. In order to illustrate those benefits and fill those time and space voids for new customers, Itesso will be giving pinball machines to all hotel companies that implement its Enterprise Lodging System (ELS) through December 1, 2014.

Commenting on the playful nature of this promotion, Erik Weller, Senior VP of Education at Itesso

explained, "Itesso recognizes that when hotel companies move their PMS and CRS to the cloud, they will have lots of vacant space in their server room. When upgrading to the Itesso Enterprise Lodging System (ELS), they will have plenty of extra time as well. To make sure that space and time is put to good use, we have decided for a limited time, to donate a pinball machine to every hotel company that converts to iTesso ELS."

The hospitality industry’s first true end-to-end cloud-native management platform, ELS is an

integrated property management system, distribution platform and central reservations system, all rolled into a single intuitive solution. As a component-based hotel chain inventory and distribution management system, ELS can be deployed as a direct connection between a hotel’s CRS and the global distribution systems and alternate distribution systems, or as a distributed multi-property PMS with links to third-party CRS systems.

“Since our Enterprise Lodging System was introduced in 2012, customers around the world have

continued to voice their appreciation for their new-found ability to manage operations much more efficiently,” continued Weller. “The pinball promotion was meant to be not only our way of saying thanks to our customers, but also a unique way to illustrate the significant benefits of moving to the Cloud.”

Properties that purchase the Itesso ELS system must do so before December 1, 2014 in order to

participate in the pinball promotion (go to www.itesso.com/pinball for a full list of restrictions). ELS will be showcased along with the accompanying pinball machine at HITEC 2014, taking place June 24-26 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Itesso will also be demonstrating i4Guests, a mobile self-service solution that gives guests the power to check-in remotely, select their own rooms, upgrades and hotel services. In addition, Itesso will be previewing its revolutionary Google Glass Assisted Hotel Check-in application, a platform that allows hotel staff to recognize guests as they walk up to the front desk and check them in with a simple voice command.
