MEXICO CITY -- Sabre Corporation (www.sabre.com) today announced a new release of TotalTrip, a hotel distribution and B2B commerce solution integrated into the Sabre travel marketplace, available to travel consultants across Latin America and the Caribbean. As a major enhancement, Sabre's TotalTrip now provides the extensive range of global properties distributed by Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN), following a new technology agreement.

Under the specific agreement between EAN and Sabre, new hotel content has been added into Sabre's hotel e-commerce platform and is now available for real-time booking.

Expedia Affiliate Network will further expand TotalTrip's already robust hotel content, offering tens of thousands of additional properties worldwide at competitive hotel rates. The additional hotel content means more business opportunities for agents, as they can offer more options to meet travelers' preferences while increase revenue from commissions guaranteed by Sabre for every pre-paid hotel booking.

"We are excited about the continued relationship with Sabre through TotalTrip and the expansion of hotel options for the agents and customers in the Latin American region," states Wendy Aird, vice president for EAN in The Americas.

"We are proud of our collaboration with Expedia Affiliate Network, as we share a commitment to create the smarter hotel shopping tool for agents that provides multiple options for their travelers," said Julia De Jesús, vice president of Sabre Travel Network in Latin America. "We believe the content brought by Expedia Affiliate Network into TotalTrip will exceed travelers' expectations in all Latin America and the Caribbean when it comes to providing a wealth of destinations, amenities and even rates."

In addition to the increased hotel offering, TotalTrip has introduced additional product enhancements to make the shopping experience even more dynamic and seamless. The optimization includes improved search criteria, more information in the hotel's map view and comprehensive descriptions of location, rooms, and amenities. The new release aims to create a seamless interaction between the agent and the digital hotel platform.

EAN is the latest hotel aggregator to bring its content into TotalTrip. This new content enhancement follows previous implementations of other regional online sources, including Best Day, Transhotel, Trend Operadora, Destinations of the World, GTA, Tourico, Hotel Beds and HotelDo.
