Properties equipped with MyHotel from MyCheck can now add Aegir Maps from Lokion to enable pick-your-own-room functionality, as well as wayfinding throughout the hotel. Room selection via digital mapping is accessible through multiple devices and platforms when using MyHotel with Aegir Maps.

MyHotel facilitates a digital check-in/-out stay experience. The system enables guests to check in, choose rooms via Aegir Maps, request upgrades, receive room status alerts, view their folio, pay using mobile wallet, and check out using their laptops, tablets or smartphones. Hoteliers manage this by adding a mobile widget to their existing website, mobile web and/or app. Lokion is the technology partner behind the Hilton Worldwide Digital Check-In with Room Selection program, hospitality's first and most successful room mapping deployment.

  • 62% of hotels plan to add digital signage/wayfinding in 2018 as part of their guest-engagement technology adoption plan
  • 57% of guests search for hotels with location-based integration; only 37% of hotels provide it
  • 46% of guests say they prefer to stay at a hotel that takes mobile payments; Only 16% offer it today
