Hotel Grandee Rocco Forte Looks To Expand Room Service
Head of dynasty — skilled in art of new beginnings — aims to double size of group

Buoyed by a market upturn, City grandee Rocco Forte plans to double the number of hotels in his portfolio in the next five years. "We should be in Paris; we should be in Madrid; we should be in Moscow," said the founder of eponymous luxury chain Rocco Forte Hotels.
It now has 11. The launch of a property in Jeddah in 2016 was the group's first opening in seven years. This year it will open Hotel De La Ville in Rome, at the top of the Spanish steps. Next year, it plans openings in Puglia in southern Italy and in Shanghai, its first foray into Asia.
