Lena Bjurner, SVP HR & Sustainability, has announced that she has decided to leave Scandic. Work to find a replacement has begun and Lena will continue in her position until the beginning of July.

Since August 2015, Lena has been a member of Scandic's Executive Committee with responsibility for HR. In June 2016, she also took over responsibility for the company's sustainability initiatives.

"I'd like to thank Lena for her role in driving our digital transformation and change agenda within culture, leadership and learning. She has contributed to increased employee engagement among our 18,000 team members and to creating the distinctive culture we have at Scandic today. Under her leadership, we have also launched several important sustainability initiatives", says Jens Mathiesen, President & CEO of Scandic Hotels Group.

"I have truly appreciated leading Scandic's work on issues related to human resources and sustainability and I am extremely proud of the results we've achieved together. I look forward to following Scandic's continued success", says Lena Bjurner.
