The Chicago regional competition took place on Saturday, September 7 at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and was judged by an all-star panel of investors. During the event, 12 startup companies presented their solutions and vied for the chance to advance to the final global competition in Silicon Valley. TraknProtect was ultimately selected as the winner of the regional competition, based on a presentation of its industry leading suite of location-based services, which includes a comprehensive safety button alert platform and advanced inventory-tracking technology.

The TraknProtect platform consists of a series of hubs that are strategically placed around the property.
