limehome, Europe's leading provider of digitized design apartments, has secured strategic new investment projects in Cologne and Stuttgart, further solidifying its presence in key European markets. With these latest signings, the company surpasses 10,000 contracted units across Europe, marking a significant milestone in its rapid expansion.

Having added 1,000 new units in the first quarter of 2025, the Munich-based company continues to be one of the fastest-growing hospitality providers in Europe. With its scalable business model and a strong track record in conversion and new development projects, limehome is experiencing strong demand across many primary and secondary cities throughout Europe.

“10,000 apartments in just six years are a major achievement that underlines the added value of our innovative concept for our guests and real estate partners. We are particularly proud that this growth is based on the foundation of a sustainably profitable business. From an investment perspective, serviced apartments offer greater flexibility and more stable returns long-term compared to traditional hotel properties. In a competitive market, our predefined standards and streamlined processes enable us to acquire and implement projects with investors in record time.” Dr. Josef Vollmayr, Co-CEO of limehome

Recurring partnerships strengthen pipeline in Europe’s primary cities

Drawing from a strong, established partner network that has both the expertise and the financial resources to realize serviced apartment projects profitably, limehome also announces four recent signings in key European primary cities, Barcelona and Madrid in Spain, as well as Cologne and Stuttgart in Germany.

In Barcelona and Madrid, limehome continues its expansion with two significant projects signed with the same partner. The Barcelona property will feature 153 units, while the Madrid location will add another 107 to limehome’s portfolio, demonstrating limehome’s strong commitment to growth in key Southern European markets.

In Cologne, limehome signed a lease for serviced apartments in a refurbishment on Hansaring in collaboration with GARBE Commercial Living. This involves the conversion of an office building, including a new façade design, which will create a total of 90 serviced apartments that meet state-of-the-art ESG standards. The mixed-use project provides for office use and gastronomy on the ground floor, with serviced apartments on the upper floors. The property opening is planned for the end of 2027.

In Stuttgart, limehome repeats its successful collaboration with the real estate developer WATZL Group and implements a fourth common project, with 109 apartments planned in Rotebühlstrasse, Stuttgart West.

“The follow-up investments in new developments are an absolute vote of confidence for us. Together with our partners, we want to continue to enable comfortable and fully digitalized stays for our guests in the future. The demand motivates us, and we will continue to expand our presence in Europe's major cities and most popular destinations.” Daniel Hermann, Chief Growth Officer of limehome
